One on One:
With Michael Dunn

by Cynthia Stewart

Drawn into those deep blue eyes, I struggle to concentrate at the job at hand. Somehow, I find the power to continue my interview with Michael Thomas Dunn. The indepedent phenomenon became an audience favorite of many film festivals with shorts like The Standoff and Midnight Conflict.

The 23 year old Dunn has generated quite a following. Here at Writeline Magazine, my interview primarily concentrates on his career as a screenwriter. His upcoming feature, Alone and Restless is eagerly anticipated by many of his loyal fans. Also in the works is a TV Movie among several other projects. Let's get started!

Excerpts From Interview

"Its hard to really classify me as any one thing. I enjoy writing and directing, but even acting is fun for me. I try not to take anything too seriously."

"I may be a director, but I'll never be an artist. I don't even think I have much talent... I certainly wasn't the best film maker back in Film School. I don't even think I'd make the Top 10 out of the 30 students there [at the film school]."
